I keep seeing people skip the test fit before glue up and it's a huge mistake
Watched a guy at a local shop assemble a big built-in without a dry run first, and the face frame was off by a solid quarter inch. He spent the next two hours trying to fix it with a belt sander. I always do a full test fit with clamps, no glue, to check for gaps and square. It adds maybe 15 minutes to the job but saves so much headache later. How do you guys handle your test fits, or do you just go for it?
