Used to chase every open house I could find on weekends (waste of gas honestly), now I only schedule showings after checking the seller's disclosure first.

Found out the hard way after walking through 8 houses in one Saturday that three had major foundation cracks and two had knob and tube wiring. Has anyone else burned a whole day on houses you'd never actually buy?

Did you at least get a good brunch out of it? I did a similar thing last year and ended up at a diner having the world's saddest scrambled eggs while mentally adding up repair costs.

Three houses in one Saturday sounds rough, I've started treating everything like disclosures now even before picking a restaurant.
