Update: I swore I'd never buy a fixer upper, then my wife dragged me to an open house in Cleveland
Walked through a 1920s bungalow with a cracked foundation and water stains on the ceiling, and the realtor said the seller would knock $18,000 off if we skipped the inspection, which made me realize the scary old houses aren't the problem, it's the deals that come with strings attached, so has anyone here actually walked away from a price that felt too good?
