My realtor pushed me to offer $15k over asking in Austin, my brother in law said walk, so I walked
He told me 'you're not just buying a house, you're buying into a bidding war you can't win,' and honestly he was right. Two months later I got a similar place in Round Rock for $8k under list, so has anyone else here actually done better by losing a house on purpose?
