I finally bought a radon mitigation system after 6 months of worrying
Paid $1,200 for a whole setup in my basement after testing showed levels at 5.8 pCi/L. Closed on the house in March and was too scared to check until last week. Anyone else put off dealing with radon until the test results scared you straight?

Waited four months after moving in to test mine. Levels were 4.2 and I just kept telling myself it was probably fine. Now I tell everyone to test their basement day one.
