Heard my neighbor say something about his mortgage that really stuck with me
Honestly, I was just getting my mail yesterday and overheard him talking to another guy on the street. He said, 'I got a 5.8% rate back in 2021 and I'm just gonna ride it out.' Tbh, it made me realize I've been so focused on today's rates that I forgot people are just living in their homes, not stressing over the number every day. It was a good reminder that the house itself matters more than the perfect deal. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where you just stopped comparing your situation to everyone else's?

Yeah, it's like we forget most people aren't checking rates daily (they're just living their lives).
