Why does nobody warn you that a $6 gas station USB-C cable can kill a $90 power bank?
I grabbed a cheap 6 foot cable at a truck stop outside Bakersfield last week because mine frayed, and it charged my Anker so slow I thought the bank was dead. Two days later the bank stopped holding anything past 20 percent, so I'm out $90 plus the $6 cable. Has anyone here actually saved a power bank after a bad cable fried the port, or is it just done at that point?
