Honestly, I was waiting for a delayed flight out of Denver last month and this guy next to me saw my 20,000mAh bank smoking like a barbecue grill. He handed me a wet napkin and said, 'You know that's not normal, right?' I thought it was just heat from the fast charge, but nope, the whole case warped and the cable tip melted into the port. Has anyone else had a power bank go thermal on them mid-trip, or am I just unlucky with the cheap ones?
