Stop buying magnetic USB-C adapters for phones you drop
I snapped my 4th magnetic adapter in 6 months on my Pixel, all because the tip stays in the port when the cable yanks off. It broke off inside the phone during a drop at a bus stop in Austin, and I had to pay $60 to get the debris out. Has anyone else trashed a port this way, or am I the only one who fell for the convenience trap?

That bus stop incident sounds rough, especially the $60 cleanup. I switched back to regular cables after my second one did the same thing, and honestly I just keep a short cable in my bag now. The magnetic ones are great until they aren't, and for me they just weren't worth the hassle.
