Spent 3 days blaming a wall adapter when the cable was fine

I mean, my phone would charge super slow but only at work, so I figured the cheap 20W adapter I grabbed from a gas station in Phoenix was toast. Swapped out three different cables, cleaned the port, even checked the outlet with a multimeter. Turns out the cable was fine and the adapter was fine, the issue was the USB-C plug was barely hanging on inside my phone case. The case lip was pushing it out just enough to lose connection. Took me 3 days and like 4 hours of staring at charging percentages to figure out something that dumb. Has anyone else had a case mess with their charging port like that?
