My car charger fried three cables before I realized it was the charger, not the cables
So I kept buying new USB-C cables for my truck, thinking they were cheap junk. Spent like $40 on four different ones over two months, all of them stopped working after a week or two. Finally grabbed a multimeter and checked the charger, it was putting out 14 volts instead of 5. Took me way too long to check the obvious, but now I just use a basic Anker one and zero issues. Anyone else wasted money on cables when the real problem was a bad charger?
