Can we talk about how I fried 3 chargers before checking the port itself?
Took me almost 6 months to figure out why every charger I plugged into my laptop kept dying after a few days. Thought it was a bad batch from the store in Austin, kept buying new ones at $25 each. Then I looked at the port with a flashlight and there was lint packed in there like a tiny blanket. Cleaned it out with a toothpick and now the same cable that was 'dead' works fine. Has anyone else gone through multiple replacements before spotting something that simple?
