The plumber in Omaha said my drain fix was fine but his face told the truth
Last month I tried a DIY drain snake on my kitchen sink because it was backing up bad. I watched 4 videos and thought I had it handled. It worked for 2 days and then the water just sat there again. So I called a guy in Omaha named Rick. He ran his camera down and looked at me with this slow nod. He said my fix was fine. But his face said I had pushed the clog deeper and cracked a fitting. $680 later and he showed me the piece. I've seen that polite face before on people who don't want to argue. Has anyone else had a pro tell you it's fine while their eyes say different?
So the guy was being polite instead of calling you out for making it worse? That sounds like a good plumber to me, not some fake. Most of them would've just shrugged and quietly handed you the bill, so a slow nod and a straight answer is about as honest as it gets.
