I finally quit laughing at my brother for calling a plumber, and he was right
Everyone here brags about fixing their own stuff, but my brother paid a guy $220 to snake a main line last month while I was mocking him from the couch. Then my own $30 auger snapped off inside the pipe and flooded the laundry room, and he just stood there smiling. Anyone else had a cheap DIY win turn into a $900 lesson?
