Vent: our old cable 100/10 plan was choking us, fiber blew it away

We ran our print shop on a cable plan with 100 down and only 10 up for way too long, and uploads were killing us. Sending a 2GB design file to a client in Austin took almost 40 minutes, and our card machine would freeze up whenever someone was on a video call. Switched to fiber 6 weeks ago and that same file goes out in about 90 seconds now. The weird part is the fiber bill is only $20 more a month, so I'm mad we waited so long. Anybody else get stuck on a plan where the upload speed was the real problem and nobody warned you?
