Shoutout to the cable guy in Toledo who showed me why our office wifi dies every day at 2pm
Last week our internet kept cutting out around 2pm sharp at the office, and I figured it was just Comcast being Comcast. The tech came out, poked around for ten minutes, and showed me our router was sitting right next to the break room microwave on the same shelf. Every day at 2pm someone heats up lunch and kills the whole 5GHz signal for the back half of the office. We moved the router six feet onto a wall mount and it has not dropped once in eight days. Anybody else got a dumb little fix like this that took an actual pro to spot?
