I finally got our shop wifi to stop dropping calls, and the fix was $40

We run two pressure washers and a card reader off one connection at our lot in Fresno, and every time a customer paid, the card machine would time out and the phone call would cut out. Last Tuesday I swapped our old router for a $40 mesh node and put the card reader on its own 5GHz band, and we made it through a full Saturday with zero dropped jobs. Anybody else running a small crew off one line, how are you splitting your bandwidth so payments and calls don't fight each other?
