TIL the dot grid in my cheap notebook is what made my lines crooked for 8 months
I was at the Barnes and Noble on 4th Street in Columbus last week and grabbed a $9 store brand dot grid notebook just to have something to write in. When I got home I tried to set up my usual monthly spread and everything lined up perfect, which confused me because my old book made every box look drunk. I pulled out an old page and counted the dots with a ruler, and the cheap one had dots spaced 5mm apart while my pricey one was 4.7mm, so my rows never matched across the spread. Eight months of blaming my handwriting for something a spacing difference did. Has anyone else measured their dots or am I the only one who got that picky about it?
