Stopped using monthly spreads entirely and went with weekly dailies instead
I kept getting overwhelmed filling out a whole month at once and then never sticking to it, so after 3 failed attempts I just started doing 2 pages per week with each day as a single line. Has anyone else found that lighter setups actually work better long term?

I tried the whole monthly spread thing once and my brain just went "nope, too much pressure" and I ended up with a blank page staring at me like a disappointed teacher. "Lighter setups" is exactly what I needed too, I switched to just writing down three things each day that I actually want to remember, not the whole schedule. It's funny how we think more planning equals more productivity but really it just makes me feel bad about not planning enough. Now I just use a little notebook and scribble whatever comes to mind, and somehow I actually stick with it.

Four words a day sounds way too structured actually, you can't just decide what to remember in advance like that.
