PSA: My messy weekly spread vs. a simple rolling weekly layout

For like 6 months I tried to draw out a full week on Sunday with all my tasks, but half the time I'd guess wrong and have to scribble stuff out. Last week I switched to a rolling weekly, where I just write the day and date at the top of a column as I go. It's way better because I'm only planning for the next day or two, not the whole week. Has anyone else made this switch and found it cut down on wasted pages?

Rolling weeklies definitely save space, but they can waste pages too if you don't fill the columns. I found it helps to leave a small notes section on the side for overflow tasks.

My friend Sarah tried the full week layout for her college classes and ended up with three completely blank days because her group project got pushed back. She switched to a rolling weekly last semester and told me it saved her almost an entire notebook because she wasn't constantly crossing out whole sections. She just writes the next day's lecture topics and assignments in the morning now.
