Just realized my bullet journal fell apart because I bought the wrong notebook at a Joann in Boise
I was in Boise visiting my brother last April and grabbed a cheap $8 dotted notebook at a Joann because I left mine at home. By week three the pages were falling out, the dots were faded, and my weekly spreads kept bleeding through with a fine liner. I had been using that thing for two years of layouts and never thought the paper weight even mattered. When I got back home I switched to a 120gsm notebook and suddenly my pens stopped ghosting and my collections stayed put. Now I check paper thickness before I buy anything, even if it means ordering online. What weight do you all look for, and has a cheap notebook ever wrecked a whole setup for you?
