Hit 30 days straight of daily journaling today

Started a simple habit tracker in January. Forgot about it until I counted the dots. Anyone else surprised by a little streak like this?

What made you stick with it for that long? For me, the key was keeping it stupid simple - just writing three bullet points about my day, no pressure to write a whole paragraph. The days I almost skipped were the ones that turned out to be the most interesting to look back on, like when I just wrote "tired, ate pasta, watched a movie" and somehow that tells a whole story now.

Oh man you totally nailed it. That's the thing I see way too often - people think journaling has to be some deep reflection every single time, but really the boring days are what makes the whole thing real. It's like how everyone talks about how social media only shows the highlights but a journal shows the actual grind. The "tired, ate pasta, watched a movie" entries are the ones that hit different later because they show what life actually felt like, not what you wanted it to look like.
