Bought a $50 bullet journal 'starter kit' and barely used any of it

I got suckered into that fancy kit with the dotted notebook, stencils, and like 8 different pens. I've only touched the notebook and one black pen, the rest is sitting in a drawer. Anyone else regret buying those overpriced sets?

Glued that stupid kit together with a cheap glue stick and used it as a makeshift whiteboard for a month before it fell apart. The stencils were so wobbly I could barely draw a straight line with em, ended up just using a ruler I already had. The whole thing felt like a waste of $50 for stuff I coulda grabbed at a dollar store.

Read somewhere that like 90% of bullet journal kits end up collecting dust. Sounds about right. Basically paying for the fantasy of being organized instead of actually getting organized.
