A friend told me my weekly spreads were way too cluttered

She pointed out I was cramming like 7 tasks per day and wondered how I could focus on anything. I switched to a max of 3 tasks per day and suddenly I'm actually finishing stuff instead of just writing lists. Has anyone else had to dial back their ambition in their journal?

Why not just write 'fail here' on each day and save yourself the trouble?

Three tasks max is the sweet spot honestly... I crammed eight things into a single Sunday once and got nothing done. Just felt bad looking at all the crossed out stuff. Now I pick the three big things for each day and let the small stuff happen if it happens. Works way better for my brain.
