TIL a $15 bench grinder wire wheel saved my 1969 Honda restomod
Spent 3 weeks fighting rust on the frame rails with sandpaper and chemicals in my garage here in Portland, then borrowed a neighbor's bench grinder with a wire wheel and knocked it all out in one afternoon. Anyone else found that buying one decent tool beats a month of elbow grease, or am I just late to this party?

Wire wheels on a bench grinder are great but they can eat good metal if you press too hard.
