The one critique that finally fixed my fan curve setup
A guy at a LAN party in Austin watched my temps and said 'your fans are chasing each other, not the heat.' I switched to a single sensor curve instead of three separate ones, and my idle noise dropped by half. Anybody else had to unlearn their custom fan logic to get better results?
Wait, so how did you actually pick which sensor to trust? I've got like six temp readouts on my board and half of them lie depending on load, so I'm curious which one you ended up building the whole curve around.
