Rant: a guy at the Columbus microcenter said my cable runs looked like spaghetti, so I redid all 14 fans and now I can't decide if it was worth it
He didn't say it mean, just pointed at the front intake and asked if I wanted the side panel to close, which stung more than it should have. I pulled every fan cable behind the tray and zip tied them to the frame, but now I'm second guessing if hidden wires even matter when nobody sees the back. Do you all chase clean cable runs for looks or for air flow, or is it just a pride thing?

Is closing the side panel even the goal if the back looks like a rats nest? Clean runs help temps a bit but honestly for me it's just pride, I'd do it again.
