Am I the only one who thought the $18 harbor freight angle grinder was junk until it outlived my name brand?
Picked one up at the Harbor Freight in Bakersfield about 8 months ago just to cut some rusty bumper bolts, figuring it would die by the weekend. It's now cut through a full roll of cutoff wheels, a set of coil springs, and half a trailer frame, and the thing still spins up every time. My $90 grinder with the fancy brand sticker burned out its brushes back in March, so now I feel pretty silly about all the trash I talked. Curious if anyone else has a cheap tool that just refuses to die, or did I get the one good one off the pallet?
