Remembering my first build at a LAN party in 2009

I was at a friend's house in Denver for a 12-hour LAN party, and my first custom PC had cable management that was basically a rats nest of IDE ribbons. Halfway through a match of Left 4 Dead, my GPU overheated because the wires blocked the fan completely. Has anyone else had a build fail like that at an event or party?

Haha man I feel that pain. My first build had a blue LED fan that looked cool but I just stuffed all the cables in front of it. We were playing Team Fortress 2 and my whole rig just started smelling like burnt plastic.
