PSA: my cheap cable combs melted onto the wires after 14 months

Built my rig back in May 2022 with these $8 acrylic combs from Amazon, looked perfect on day one. Fast forward to last weekend, I open the side panel to dust and the combs are literally fused to the sleeving. The GPU power cables had this weird sticky residue and some of the combs snapped clean off when I touched them. Turns out acrylic degrades over time with heat cycles, especially near exhaust fans. The sleeving itself is fine but I had to cut every single cable tie and comb off, total pain. Anyone else run into this with cheaper comb materials? What are you using now that actually holds up?

Damn, that really sucks. I've had cheap acrylic combs get brittle and crack on me before, but never fully melt onto the cables like that. I usually stick with the higher end nylon or ABS ones now, even if they cost a bit more, because the sticky mess cleanup is way worse than the upfront price.
