It took me 3 years to realize my front fans were set as exhaust, not intake.

I only noticed when a friend pointed out my GPU temps were running 12 degrees hotter than his, even though we had the same case and cooler.

Your GPU temps were running 12 degrees hotter" - that's a solid clue, but it could also be an airflow path issue, not just the direction. Even if the fans are properly set as intake, a bad fan curve or a dusty filter can still choke your GPU. Just flipping them might not fix everything if the airflow path through the case is blocked.

12 degrees is a huge difference. @ellis.charles makes a good point about dust filters though, I forgot to clean mine for like a year and that definitely made things worse.
