I finally caved and bought custom length PSU cables after 3 hours of fighting extensions

Spent almost 4 hours on Sunday trying to cram all that extra cable from my extensions behind the motherboard tray in a Fractal North case. No matter how many zip ties I used it still looked like a mess and the side panel bulged. Gave up, ordered some cablemod cables in the exact lengths I needed for about $85. Has anyone else switched from extensions to custom cables and actually noticed a difference in how easy the build looks?

Extensions drove me crazy in my Meshify 2. Had a similar bulge issue on the back panel. Custom cables from cablemod cleaned everything right up. Measured each run with a string first, then ordered. Took maybe 2 hours total for the swap and the back actually closes flat now.
