Fan cable routing ate 3 hours, then I spotted the obvious

Putting a new AIO in my Fractal case. Rear exhaust fan cable kept snagging on the GPU backplate. Re-routed it five times. Tried zip ties, velcro, even a 90 degree adapter. Finally realized the fan was installed upside down. Rotated it 180 degrees, cable dropped into the channel. Done in 30 seconds. Has anyone else had a dumb fix like that after hours of fighting?

Five times" is wild to me, like I'd have thrown the whole case out the window by attempt three. But the upside down fan part is the kicker, that's the kind of thing that makes you sit there and just laugh at yourself for a solid minute. I've done similar with a stuck SATA cable that was just twisted the wrong way, but three hours feels like a rite of passage at that point.
