Built my first 6 PCs with zip ties everywhere, now I only use velcro straps after one melted on a GPU backplate
Switched about 2 years ago when a zip tie I had yanked too tight snapped during a GPU swap and scratched my 3080's backplate. Velcro is way easier to redo when you swap parts every 6 months too, anyone else made the switch or still team zip tie?

Nah zip ties are still fine if you don't crank them like a gorilla.

Yeah actually you're right, I used to think they were trash but this makes sense.
