Tried the $25 grocery challenge for one week in Cleveland and saved $70
I set a hard limit of $25 for all food for 7 days at my local Aldi on West 117th. I ended up spending $23.40 and still ate three meals a day, mostly rice, beans, eggs, and whatever veggies were marked down. The thing that surprised me was how much of my usual bill was just snacks and drinks I grabbed without thinking. What is the one item you always buy out of habit that you could actually skip?
