Tracked every dollar for 90 days and my grocery bill dropped $214 without coupons
Back in January I started writing down every single purchase in a $1 notebook from the drugstore, mostly because I had no clue where my money was going each month. By day 45 I could see I was spending $310 a month on food just grabbing stuff without a plan, and once I started shopping with a list based on what I already had at home, that number fell to $96 by the end of March. Did tracking first and cutting second work better for you, or did you try to do both at once and burn out?
