The cashier who made me rethink my whole grocery budget
Last month at the Kroger on 5th Street, this older cashier saw me putting back a $4 jar of pasta sauce and said 'honey, you're saving pennies but losing hours, grab the store brand and go home 20 minutes earlier' and now I actually time my shopping trips against my hourly rate.
