PSA: The library in my town has a seed bank you can use for free.

I went to pick up a book and saw a whole rack of vegetable and flower seed packets, no library card needed. How many other towns have something like this that people just don't know about?

Sounds cool but ours got rid of theirs. Too many people took seeds and never brought any back.

That "never brought any back" part is the real killer. Saw it happen at our old community garden. People would get all excited about free tomato seeds, then you'd never see them again next season. The whole thing just slowly dies when nobody puts anything back in.
