Picked the $40 mechanic's toolkit over the $200 brand name one at AutoZone last weekend
Needed a socket set for a brake job on my F-150 and figured I'd risk the cheap one since it had a lifetime warranty. Two days in and it's held up fine, has anyone else had luck with those store brand tool kits?

Bought one of those kits last summer thinking it'd be a fun little project and not expecting much. Dropped it off my workbench twice, accidentally left it out in the rain one weekend, and it still works like new. Honestly makes me wonder why more companies don't do this for their basic stuff.
