My coworker at the hardware store bet me $20 I couldn't go a month without buying coffee out
Last month my coworker Dave bet me $20 that I couldn't go 30 days without buying coffee on my way to work. I work at a hardware store in Columbus and there's a coffee place right next to us, so I was spending about $4.50 every morning. That's $135 a month just on coffee, which I never really did the math on before. I took the bet and started making it at home with a $12 french press I already had in the back of my cabinet. The first week was rough, I'm not gonna lie, but I actually started liking the stuff I made better. I saved $130 and Dave paid up on day 31. Now I'm wondering what other small daily habit is quietly draining my wallet. What's the one thing you cut that ended up saving more than you thought?
