Just saw a grocery store in Phoenix with a whole aisle for 'ugly' produce at 50% off
It was all perfectly fine, just weird shapes. Grabbed a bag of lumpy peppers for like $2. Anyone know other stores doing this?

That's a smart way to cut down on food waste. My cousin works at a farm stand that sells the crooked carrots and two legged potatoes separately. People go nuts for them, says they have more character. Wonder if the taste is actually different or if it's all in our heads?

Totally get that! Honestly I bet they taste the exact same, we just like feeling like we found something special. Makes the whole meal more fun, doesn't it?
