Just saw a chart on how much the average person spends on coffee each month

I was looking at my bank app yesterday and they have this new spending tracker. It said I spent $68 on coffee shops in March, which felt normal to me. But then I clicked a link to a blog from the bank, and it said the national average is only about $27. I mean, I get a latte most mornings, but I didn't think I was spending over twice the average. Has anyone else checked their coffee spending and been surprised?

Honestly, I used to think my coffee habit was no big deal. Seeing the actual numbers like that really put it in perspective for me.

So what was the final damage... are we talking a car payment or a small vacation? I did that math once with my energy drinks and almost had a heart attack before the caffeine even kicked in. It's crazy how those little daily buys add up to something so big.
