Just realized my coffee habit was costing over $900 a year after I tracked it for a month
I found out by adding up my receipts from the cafe by my office, and it was a huge shock. Anyone else cut a small daily expense that added up to a crazy amount?

Ever read about the "latte factor"? It's that idea where small daily buys really do add up over a year. Your coffee total is a perfect example of how it works. Makes you look at every little purchase differently.

Oh man, that reminds me of my old vending machine habit at work. I was dropping like three bucks a day on chips and a soda without even thinking. Did the math and it was over seven hundred a year, which is nuts for some stale pretzels.

My lunchtime sandwich run was the same way. I started packing leftovers and saved almost eighty bucks last month.
