Found out my gym membership was auto-renewing at $60 a month for a year I didn't even go

I was cleaning old bank statements and noticed 12 charges from Planet Fitness I forgot to cancel, so I called them and got a partial refund of $240 after some arguing, has anyone else caught a forgotten subscription messing with their budget?

Set up calendar reminders three days before any free trial ends to dodge stuff like this.

Yeah the "three days before" rule is smart. I missed a gym membership trial by one day once and got hit with a full month charge, learned that lesson the hard way.
