Appreciation post: the $47 water heater part that died on a Sunday in February
Our water heater quit on a Sunday night in February and the plumber quoted $310 just to come out. I found the $47 thermopile at a supply shop in Boise on Monday and swapped it in 20 minutes, so what did you all do the first time a repair quote felt like a trap?
