Appreciation post: chose a local credit union over a big bank for my savings
They offered a 4.5% APY on a basic account, which is way more than the 0.01% I was getting. Anyone else have a good experience with a smaller financial institution?

Does your credit union have a direct phone number for their IT support? I've found that calling them directly instead of using the app's help chat works way better for fixing crash issues. They can sometimes push an update to your specific device if you explain the problem clearly.

Actually, that sounds more like a buggy app than a security feature. A good app should be stable. My old bank's app used to crash every time I tried to deposit a check, which is a huge pain. It's probably just bad coding on their end, not something they're doing on purpose. You might want to send them a support ticket every time it happens.
