I used to book flights for short trips without thinking twice, but last month I needed to get from Phoenix to Vegas on a tight budget and a friend told me to check the bus. The FlixBus ticket came out to $19 each way versus $180 for the cheapest last minute flight, and it dropped me right on the Strip in about 5 hours. I figured I'd hate every minute but honestly the wifi and reclining seat made it way better than dealing with airport security. Anyone else done the bus over a short haul flight and actually preferred it?
