Yeah the booking window thing is wild once you start paying attention. Most people have no clue that you gotta book at specific times to get the best deals. The sweet spot is usually 3-4 weeks out for domestic flights. Any earlier and you're paying full price, any later and you're getting gouged.

3 weeks out for a random Tuesday to Cleveland got me a $47 one way last month. But I swear I booked the same route 5 weeks out once and it was like $200. The algorithms are just trolling us at this point. Maybe the real sweet spot is actually just refreshing the page at 3am when nobody else is looking.
