Shoutout to the 5am flight from Vegas I almost skipped
Last Tuesday I booked a 5am flight out of Las Vegas back home just to save $80 on the fare. I almost canceled it to sleep in and take a later one. But I stuck with it and got through security in like 10 minutes, grabbed a cheap breakfast sandwich at the airport for $4, and landed by 8am. The later flight got delayed 3 hours due to weather. I saved money and time without even trying. Anyone else found that super early flights are the best budget move even when they hurt?

That $4 breakfast sandwich is the real win here. I've noticed the 5am crowds are way more chill too, no one's stressed or rushing because half the airport is still asleep. Plus you basically get a free extra day at home since you land before most people even start work.
