Ugh, that reminds me of my "hack" where I just shoved all my socks into my shoes to save space. Forgot I packed sandals, so then I just had a loose pile of socks rolling around the bottom of my bag for a week.

Oh man, I know that feeling. I tried to roll all my clothes instead of folding them once, called it a hack... it just made everything a wrinkled mess. Now I just use packing cubes for different stuff, like one for shirts and one for pants. It keeps things neat and I can actually find what I need. It's not a magic trick, it's just being a little organized.
